The IT Partners Help Desk provides assistance for faculty and staff on connectivity, communication technology, hardware, supported software, classroom and facilities technology, and live events. Many of our services are documented in the Gies Knowledge Base.

Help Desk FAQs
Do you support students?
Gies PhD students who are also instructors are provided the same support as all Gies faculty and instructors.
We do not currently provide direct support to other graduate or undergraduate students. Students should contact consult@illinois.edu to work with campus Technology Services.
Can you help me with my personal device?
IT Partners cannot work directly with the personal devices of faculty and staff. We provide limited consulting assistance with personal computing and mobile devices, including consulting on the installation of VPN, email, or other basic supported software.

Our equipment policy and eligibility requirements are detailed in the IT Life Cycle Equipment Program for Gies Staff.
