Team Values

Our team embraces the following values as we partner with college units. 

  • Respect: Show respect for all team members, acknowledging the value of diverse opinions, experiences, and backgrounds. Foster an inclusive environment where everyone's thoughts and ideas are heard and considered.
  • Presence: Be available and present during scheduled work time to focus on individual work, collaborate with other team members, and engage in various forms of discussion and communication.
  • Communication: Clearly articulate ideas, expectations, and technical information to team members and stakeholders in a timely fashion.
  • Collaboration: Work cooperatively with colleagues and other departments, sharing knowledge and resources to achieve common goals. Actively participate in team activities.
  • Feedback: Actively solicit feedback on your work and ideas from your colleagues and provide timely, actionable feedback when your colleagues request it of you.
  • Team Orientation: Engage in the spirit of collective accomplishments and accountability.
  • Efficiency: Work efficiently to deliver products and services as quickly as possible and set scope boundaries that favor delivery over perfection.
  • Engagement in Learning: Show willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and methodologies to stay current with industry trends.
  • Disagreement and Commitment: Voice disagreement and be inclusive of different opinions during the decision-making process, but once a decision is made, be fully committed to its execution.
  • Documentation: Plan, document, and track your work and leave according to established procedures in team-standard tools so that team members and managers have up-to-date information on project and individual progress.
  • Restoration and Rejuvenation: Take time away from work to restore and rejuvenate yourself. Respect others’ time away from the office. Limit team communications outside of normal business hours and according to unit policies.
