Performance Management

While an official performance evaluation is submitted on an annual basis, performance management is an ongoing process involving feedback, coaching, and recognition throughout the year. A midyear review is optional. Performance management is meant to keep an open dialogue between manager and employee with focused attention and feedback on mutually agreed upon goals.

The resources below are provided to assist with FY24 performance evaluations, which are due August 5, 2024.

New Campus Performance Management System - Coming Soon

IHR will be introducing an electronic performance management platform through Cornerstone that is more streamlined and eliminates use of our individual word/pdf template. The Dean’s Office and IT partners successfully piloted it for 2 years and have found it to be a dramatic improvementMore details and training on the campus system will come soon.

For the time being, please continue to use our existing performance management process. When the new system launches, Gies units will have the option of adopting the new platform or continuing to utilize the current process for their FY25 evaluations. Please contact Gies HR Partners with any questions.
