Faculty and staff affinity groups strive to foster a supportive environment for participants, elevate their voices, and provide visibility and resources for others within the College.
They host workshops, webinars, member socials, guest speakers, and special student-facing events.
Black Faculty and Staff at Gies
This group provides visibility, support, and a sense of connection for our diverse, intersectional Black community at Gies Business. All faculty and staff who identify as Black, Caribbean, African American, or African are invited to join the group.

LGBTQ+ and Allies at Gies
This group provides visibility, empowerment, and a sense of community for our faculty and staff who identify as LGBTQ+ and allies. They are instrumental in creating a climate that is accepting and empowering, and they also serve as a resource to LGBTQ+ students, the College, and our corporate partners. This group is open to faculty and staff who identify as LGBTQ+ and to allies across the College.

Women at Gies
This group fosters an environment to support and elevate our diverse, intersectional community of women through opportunities for connection, mentorship, allyship, and discussion forums. The group also serves as a resource to provide visibility and to attract and retain women at Gies Business. All faculty and staff who identify as women are invited to join.
